A paradise for daredevils and connoisseurs

Forests, meadows, mountains and valleys as far as the eye can see: Sauerland and Upland shine with great panoramic routes. Many enjoyable routes are suitable for leisurely walks with the whole family. If you want more action, you can try the climbs up to 843 metres or test rapid descents in the forest.

Downhill

The downhill course in Willingen was designed and built by Diddie Schneider, one of Europe's leading course designers. From the summit of the Ettelsberg, it goes over challenging passages rapidly down into the valley. Every year the world's best downhillers meet here in Willingen to determine the fastest downhill rider at the "Wheels of Speed" as part of the SYMPATEX Bike Festival.

Freeride

The first ride over the tracks in Willingen makes it clear that track designer Diddie Schneider has had a hand in this as well. The result is a coherent track on which almost everyone will feel comfortable. Beginners can get to grips with the berms and jumps, while experts can add more difficulty to the trail with their speed.
